Hi, I’m Taylor, and I created the experience I wish I had when I started learning astrology
Like most girls in the Y2K era, magazine horoscopes were my gateway into astrology (but there’s only so many you can read with lines like your true love will arrive on Tuesday). In the quiet spaces of my day, I would explore the star signs and dream of understanding them better.
While deconstructing from religion, I found myself searching for meaning and direction. Astrology became a beautiful tool for my personal development, so much so that it inspired me to write an entire fantasy series about the zodiac.
All those years drafting my story, I spent hours studying the planets and houses, but all the complicated terms kept going over my head. I felt lost. Reading my chart was an exercise in overwhelm. Every time something changed, I wanted to overhaul my life.
When I found lunations, everything changed. I didn’t feel like I had to know everything about astrology to set intentions and reach for my goals. That passion for the moon cycles was what led to Moonlit Musings.
Inside the community, I organize and explain concepts that can feel complex in a way that’s digestible and easy to apply. There are no questions too small or too silly– I love supporting people who are newer to this journey but ready to learn.
Astrology doesn’t have to be daunting. With the right guidance, you can learn it using your own chart.

We designed Moonlit Musings to be welcoming to beginners and those who have dabbled in but don’t know much about astrology (yet). If you’re totally new, we recommend starting with the free podcast, then moving to the Cardinal tier. As your knowledge grows, move up into the next tier for more community support and deeper engagement with the lunations.

We host our community on Patreon. Inside, you’ll find all the readings and group chats, one for each rising sign (twelve in total) and another for general questions. There are only two chats you’ll need to be in: your rising sign and the full group chat where people ask questions, set goals, and interpret the latest lunation together.

Not at all! Most of our members listen to the podcast on their commute to work, take just 5-10 minutes to do the Full or New Moon reflections, or drop into the chats during the small breaks in their day. There’s no expectation of stopping your life just to interpret astrology. It’s made to move with you, even if you’re busy or don't have a lot of time.

Anytime a planet (or in this case, the Moon) meets up with the Sun, it begins a new cycle, a new storyline, a new beginning. The New Moon is a meet-up of the Sun and Moon at the same degree in the same zodiac sign (Leo, Scorpio, Pisces, etc.). Each New Moon lets us harness that energy and chart a new path.
